Inspired by my favourite food critic Grace Dent, I went to have a “proper dinner” at the Bush Hall Dining Rooms. The newest addition to a rapidly changing Shepherd’s Bush neighbourhood, the Dining Halls offer traditional hearty meals with a twist. I started with the mussels which were unremarkable, followed by a chocolate and venison casserole which was extremely rich but delish! My companions tried the Pork Three Ways and Rack Of Lamb followed by coffee and a Knickerbocker Glory.
