Newly opened on Brick Lane is the latest pop-up to occupy the Truman Brewery Space – The House Of Peroni. After one visit I’m sold, iconic Italian beer brand Peroni have used the huge warehouse space spectacularly to create a Italian cocktail hour worthy of stylish Milan. The whole area has been filled with huge floral installations, multiple bars and even a small Italian foodstore. Outside, luxurious couches and stylish coffee tables are scattered in the sun under a marque (for all those days in London which aren’t sunny).
The cocktails have a basis of beer (Peroni, of course) but come with delightful touches like miniature ice cream cone garnishes and peach flavoured foam toppings. Ranging mostly in the £9 range they’re worth it just for the pleasure of sitting in such a lovely beer garden. The coffee cocktails are a steal at just £3.50 for something akin to an espresso Martini, while £8 apertivo dishes offer something to nibble on. I hope this little East London Oasis doesn’t get to popular as I plan on parking myself here for the length of its residency. https://thehouseofperoni.com/
